J. Gregory Black, MD
“I was drawn to allergy and immunology as a field because of what it does for people. Our scientific approach educates patients and empowers them to make the best choice for their medical care and improve their quality of life. The most important place to start is by listening to the patient. Once we understand a patient’s needs we can use traditional or more advanced therapies to manage their symptoms cost-effectively. The most significant reward for an allergist is seeing the happiness of patients once they have realized our plan is returning them to good health.”
Dr. Black is active at his church and donates to Rising Champions, a charity for PRISMA Children’s Hospital. His hobbies include music, following politics and current events, movies, and exercising.
Dr. Black’s most important work outside of medicine is spending time with his lovely wife and raising two children.
